Job Description

William Jessup University seeks a part-time person who is analytical, and detailed oriented in their approach to solving tasks for the role of Data & Operations Analyst in the School of Professional Studies (SPS). The Data & Operations Analyst is part of a team that serves the adult student population at WJU. As a member of our vibrant team, they exemplify the values and mission of WJU. We are looking for an individual with a strong sense of collaboration, a desire to be part of an inspired and productive team. This position is responsible for supporting and identifying the enrollment and budget forecasting needs of the SPS Director by turning data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. This position is also responsible for requirements analysis and design, developing analysis and reporting capabilities, and continuously monitoring performance and quality control plans to identify improvements within the CRM, SIS, and budget management software (Adaptive). The Analyst will help accomplish business objectives by identifying and solving department information and processing problems. The Analyst is responsible for maintaining the CRM database by entering, verifying, and balancing data, and training operators on new and existing data processes. In addition, the Analyst must also routinely examine their own methodologies to find ways of improving predictive accuracy. This position also trains and supervises student workers that work within the CRM and CAMS database, ensuring data quality and consistency. See job description for complete details. Normal working hours will be between 25-29/hours per week with schedule established M-F. Hours canย be flexibly scheduled between 7am - 6pm once the person is trained. This is a part-time non-exemptย position.

Qualifications

Detail-oriented individual with strong organizational support skills and quantitate skills

Interpersonal communication skills to interact with students, faculty, vendors, other

University departments and the general public

Have CA Driver's License and a vehicle or a way to get to and from offsite events

Able to apply the Federal and State regulations related to maintaining student and

personnel records in regards to confidentiality and personal privacy (FERPA)

Additional Information

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

-Assist Director in budget and enrollment forecasting

Meet the Director's needs by identifying and addressing any current performance trends

Create/update enrollment reports containing budget/revenue implications for historical and realtime

analysis

Provide real-time and historical enrollment analysis and reports for the recruiting team and SPS

Director

-Responsible for monitoring and collecting all data associated with the recruitment process

Data entry and management within the CRM and University database

Locate and define new process improvement opportunities - develop and implement data

collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality

Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports to Director

Prepares team to use any new or updated systems by conducting training

-Support recruiting/marketing efforts by creating and maintaining email campaigns within the CRM,

collecting event attendance data, and reporting on findings

-Create and maintain SPS website content as needed in conjunction with the WJU Marketing Department

-Other organizational support as directed

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

Experience with a CRM or other databases, preferably in a higher education setting
