New Castle Nursing & Rehab and Twin Oaks Assisted Living are looking for a compassionate, creative, and motivated professional to join our team in a unique role that combines resident beauty services with marketing, social media, and community engagement.

This is not your typical cosmetology position. You'll help residents look and feel their best while showcasing the incredible people, stories, and moments that make our communities special.

Position Summary

The Resident Experience & Marketing Coordinator will provide salon services for residents at both New Castle Nursing & Rehab and Twin Oaks Assisted Living while leading our social media presence, online reputation management, website content, and community engagement efforts.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, values meaningful relationships, and wants to combine their cosmetology skills with creativity and marketing.

Responsibilities

Resident Beauty Services

Provide professional haircuts, styling, shampoo/set services, and grooming services for residents

Maintain salon schedules at both New Castle Nursing & Rehab and Twin Oaks Assisted Living

Deliver exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming salon experience

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional salon environment

Build meaningful relationships with residents and families

Marketing & Community Engagement

Manage Facebook and social media accounts for both communities

Create engaging content highlighting resident life, celebrations, activities, employee recognition, and special events

Capture photos and videos of approved events and activities

Develop resident spotlight stories and employee recognition features

Assist with community events, admissions activities, and marketing initiatives

Online Reputation & Digital Presence

Monitor and respond to Google reviews in a professional and timely manner

Encourage residents, families, visitors, and employees to share positive experiences online

Assist with website updates and community news

Support efforts to improve online visibility through content creation and local SEO strategies

Qualifications

Required

Current Kentucky Cosmetology License

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Passion for serving older adults

Comfortable using smartphones, social media platforms, and basic computer applications

Self-motivated with strong organizational skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities

Preferred

Experience working in senior living, healthcare, or customer service

Social media management experience
