Seeking a creative and strategic Digital Marketing Intern to grow our online presence at Grotto Pizza - Newark. This role is tasked to assist in developing content, engaging with followers, analyzing performance data, and aligning social efforts with the broader marketing strategy. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, stays ahead of digital trends, and thrives in a fast paced, collaborative environment. Reporting to the General Manger - Newark, this role will be working alongside restaurant staff and corporate marketing team.
Job Duties:
Content Strategy & Creation
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive social media strategy that supports marketing and business goals.
  • Create and curate continuous, unique, content for platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
  • Maintain a consistent voice and visual identity across all social media channels.
  • Generate a content library to be used throughout the year.

Performance & Analytics
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators such as reach, engagement, conversion rates, and audience growth.
  • Use insights to optimize content strategy and campaign effectiveness.
  • Prepare regular campaign reports and collaborate on actionable recommendations.

Campaign Management
  • Collaborate with the marketing and management team to plan and execute integrated social campaigns.
  • Support product launches, promotions, events, and other key initiatives.

Trend Monitoring & Innovation
  • Stay up to date with social media trends, tools, and applications.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Requirements
Requirements:
  • Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program focusing on Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience in social media management or digital marketing.
  • Strong copywriting, visual storytelling, and communication skills.
  • Experience with photo/video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Experience in hospitality or food & beverage brands.
