Job Description

The Paid Social Media Specialist oversees executing, monitoring and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across social platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, etc.) with a relentless focus on efficiency and ROI. You turn the high-level strategy into tangible results by managing the "levers" of the ad auction-targeting, bidding, and creative testing.

The Paid Social Media Specialist will report to Global Digital Media Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently execute campaigns, by building and launching ad sets, ensuring perfect tracking (pixels/APIs) and budget allocation across diverse audience segments.

  • Daily optimization of active campaigns through daily "health checks" on active ads, performing A/B tests on copy and creative to drive down CPA and scale winning campaigns.

  • Providing regular performance breakdowns, translating complex platform data into clear insights on spend efficiency and conversion trends.

  • Help to define and execute a paid social media strategy in collaboration with management and cross functional stakeholders (i.e., PR, Brand, Corporate Comms, etc.).

  • Participate as a core team member on the Social Media Governance Board responsible for the development and implementation of social media governance guidelines, policies, training, etc., to maintain a cohesive brand strategy across social channels to deliver on KPIs.

  • Identify the most important social media KPIs, development of dashboards, and report on social metrics and analytics, to continuously optimize social channels and identify new opportunities.

  • Advising stakeholders on social media best practices, helping them develop effective strategies to reach and engage with their target audiences on social platforms through paid campaigns.

  • Staying up-to-date with changes in the social media landscape, including social media best practices, emerging trends and technologies.

  • Recommending forward thinking strategies and innovations, with focus on AI.

  • Focus on operational efficiencies, optimizing and streamlining existing processes to free capacity and leverage/scale resources to focus on business-critical activities.

Qualifications
  • Due to the business hours, we are seeking a candidate based on the East Coast.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

  • 4+ years of hands-on paid social media experience with direct ownership of campaign execution and optimization

  • Proven expertise managing campaigns across Meta and LinkedIn Ads platforms (additional platforms such as Reddit or TikTok a plus)

  • Demonstrated ability to optimize campaigns against performance KPIs (e.g., CPA, ROAS, conversion rate)

  • Experience managing budgets, audience targeting, and A/B testing at scale

  • Strong knowledge of tracking and attribution, including pixels, conversion APIs, and UTM structure

  • Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable optimizations

  • Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Brand, PR, Corporate Communications)

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.
