Description
West Shore Community College is seeking to establish a list of qualified adjunct instructors in a variety of mathematical disciplines. The Mathematics Division is seeking applicants for part-time adjunct faculty to teach developmental mathematics courses such as Pre Algebra, Introductory Algebra, or Intermediate Algebra, as well as Quantitative Literacy courses such as Introduction to Statistics and Quantitative Reasoning.

Qualifications
To teach developmental mathematics courses, qualified instructors have earned (1) a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Math Education, or (2) a Bachelor's degree with 9 upper division semester credit hours in teaching discipline or subfield, or (3) alternative credentialing equivalent to the preceding.
To teach quantitative literacy courses, qualified instructors have earned (1) a Master's degree in Mathematics or Statistics, or (2) Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Mathematics or Statistics.
