We seek a compassionate and skilled part-time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team. As an LVN, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to our residents under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) and ensuring that the facility meets all applicable regulations and standards.ย
This position is available for AM shift (7AM-3PM), PM shift (3PM-11PM) & NOC shift (11PM-7AM).
Responsibilities:
ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs, and assessing and documenting changes in their condition.
ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Assist with developing and implementing individualized care plans based on residents' needs and goals.
ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Coordinate care with other healthcare team members, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Ensure that all documentation and charting are accurate, complete, and current.
ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Educate residents and families about their healthcare needs and treatments.
ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations governing nursing care in the facility.
Qualifications:
ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Valid and current LVN license in the state of California
ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Graduate of an accredited nursing program
ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Minimum of 1-year experience in aย skilled nursing facility, acute care setting, in-patient rehabilitation, or in-patient behavioral health setting
ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Strong clinical skills, including assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing care.
ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
