Part-Time Optometrist (OD) – Wichita, Kansas

Schedule: 4–7 weekdays per month (Monday and/or Friday preferred)

Compensation: $900 per day/visit

Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

About the Opportunity

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist to provide high-quality vision care within a structured, outpatient clinic-based environment in Wichita, Kansas. This role allows you to practice meaningful, mission-driven care without the administrative burden of running your own practice.

You'll serve as an integrated member of a coordinated clinical team supporting senior populations in a predictable, organized setting.

The Setting

This opportunity operates within a community-based outpatient clinic model designed for consistency and support:

  • Full-time clinic staff on-site

  • Organized scheduling and patient flow

  • Collaborative, team-based care environment

  • Value-based model focused on seniors

  • All equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing handled by CMC

What You'll Do
  • Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments

  • Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope

  • Prescribe corrective lenses and provide treatment recommendations

  • Partner with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team

  • Deliver patient-centered care in a structured outpatient environment
