Logistics Coordinator (Shipping & Receiving) - Lenexa, KS, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Pay range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

As a Logistics Coordinator at Quest Diagnostics, you are the vital link ensuring that life-critical diagnostic specimens and supplies reach their destination safely and on time. You will manage the movement of goods, coordinate transportation resources, and maintain high standards of operational efficiency while exemplifying The Quest Way.

Responsibilities:

  • Transportation & Movement: Plan and monitor the daily movement of goods and medical shipments. This includes the physical handling and moving of boxes, verifying pallet counts, and ensuring proper temperature controls for sensitive medical specimens.
  • Coordination & Logistics: Utilize automated systems to assign pick-ups and deliveries to internal couriers or external vendors, ensuring optimal route efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Interaction: Act as a primary point of contact for internal teams (lab personnel, dispatchers) and external clients to resolve delays and provide real-time updates.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with third-party transportation providers and vendors to ensure compliance with Quest Diagnostics quality and safety standards.
  • Quality & Service: Achieve all quality and service standards / expectations.
  • Productivity: Achieve all productivity standards.
  • Safety & Compliance: Work Safety! Maintain meticulous logs and perform audits to ensure all transportation activities meet safety regulations and environmental standards.

Qualifications:

Preferred Work Experience:

* Previous experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or medical transportation is a plus.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

* Ability to move boxes and handle materials in a warehouse or clinic environment as needed.

Knowledge:

* Proficiency in logistics software, data analysis, and budget management.

Skills:

* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and logistics software. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Education:

* High school degree or equivalent. (Required)* Associate or Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management. (Preferred)
