Since 1979, Insight for Living (IFL) has been committed to excellence in teaching the study and application of God's Word. Pastor Chuck Swindoll and his wife, Cynthia, began the ministry by broadcasting Pastor Chuck's Bible-teaching program, Insight for Living, on 18 stations. Today, the program airs on more than 2,000 stations, can be streamed through various online channels, and can be heard in 70 countries and eight languages.
We also produce quality Bible-study resources, have a dynamic online presence, provide pastoral counseling, and actively walk alongside listeners through life's challenges. As a ministry, we're committed to Vision 195, our strategic mission to pursue Jesus' Great Commission by extending God's grace and making disciples in all 195 countries and their 6,875 heart languages.
In addition to our international headquarters in Frisco, Texas, we currently have ministry offices in 10 countries, where our pastors translate resources, train church leaders to use Pastor Chuck's Searching the Scriptures Bible-study methods, serve their communities, and pursue Vision 195 in their languages. Position Summary
The Social Media Content and Growth Specialist (Specialist) is responsible for growing Insight for Living's (IFL) presence on LinkedIn and YouTube through compelling short-form content. The Specialist creates content, digital advertisements, and analytics to enhance IFL's reach to new audiences across two high-growth platforms. The Specialist draws from an expansive content library of podcast interviews, sermons, books, and articles to identify and produce clips, graphics, posts, and short-form videos that resonate with today's digital audience. Additionally, the Specialist uses paid advertisements to amplify that reach and drive traffic back to the IFL website. As a representative of the ministry, the Specialist is relational, detail-oriented, and an independent self-starter who serves with the utmost grace, care, and professionalism.
Core Job Functions
Content Development (40%)
  • Collaborates with IFL's creative team to implement a content strategy
  • Mines IFL's content library to surface clips, quotes, and stories worth sharing on LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Assembles each post's content for LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Edits and produces short-form video and graphic content using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools
  • Manages posting schedules for LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Brings fresh ideas and a proactive mind-set to content strategy

Campaign Research and Oversight (35%)
  • Plans and manages paid advertisement campaigns on LinkedIn and YouTube within an established budget
  • Ensures advertisement campaigns align with platform goals and ministry strategy
  • Monitors campaign performance and organic growth
  • Compiles regular analytics reports and each campaign's highlights
  • Brings fresh ideas and a proactive mindset to content strategy by spotting trends, testing formats, and suggesting pivots based on what data shows

Professional Development and Project Management (15%)
  • Commits to the challenges of growth and development according to the Professional Development Plan

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or comparable photo/video editing tools
  • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
  • A creative eye and the instinct to know what will stop a scroll
