Posting Summary
The Kreimer Lab at the Center for Advanced Biotechnology and Medicine (CABM) is seeking a qualified candidate for a Coadjutant Non-Teaching Research (Part-time) position. The lab focuses on developing predictive models of transcriptional regulation by integrating large-scale datasets to shed light on regulatory processes that are condition-specific. In conjunction with experimental validation, the lab will leverage such techniques to identify functional variants and mechanisms of action driving disease.
The Coadjutant will contribute to ongoing and independent research projects. Responsibilities include conducting high throughput genomic assays, performing cloning and preparation of libraries, executing lenti-virus infections, and preparing samples for sequencing. The role also involves developing and updating research protocols, documenting experimental designs and results, guiding lab personnel, and contributing to scientific writing. Will perform other related duties as assigned. This is a grant-funded position contingent on the availability of funds to support it.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
PhD Degree in a scientific discipline.
Certifications/Licenses Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Requires knowledge of standard molecular biology techniques, cell culture, lentiviral techniques, and high-throughput genomic techniques. Experience in Computational Biology, including script writing and server and computational software, is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications Equipment Utilized Physical Demands and Work Environment
Laboratory environment. Universal safety precautions are mandatory.
