PT Marketing Assistant

Starting Pay: $20.26 hour

Hours: 20 per week

Part-time benefits include personal business, sick pay, Holiday pay, and access to the on-site employee clinic.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing Assistant will provide creativity in designing and creating content in alignment with the library's brand. The Marketing Assistant works in close collaboration with internal and external colleagues to execute marketing tasks and projects and contribute original ideas that advance the mission of the library.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In cooperation with the Director of Communications and other Communications Team colleagues, the Marketing Assistant will advance the library's mission, vision, strategic priorities, and brand. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Participate in staff planning and training.
  • Design, create, and edit visual content to align to EVPL's initiatives, programs, and library brand materials.
  • Collaboratively work with colleagues to create, write, and edit various EVPL publications, print or digital.
  • Assist the Communications Team with installation of exhibits and displays.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to complete marketing projects and requests including printing, spray mounting, and reviewing digital programs.
  • Assist in the creation of print and digital content.
  • Collaborate with and/or present original ideas to the Communications Team in order to further the promotion and communication of library services, resources, and/or programs.
  • Participate in special projects, or other duties, as assigned.
