The Law Office Assistant will provide essential administrative support within a small legal team, ensuring smooth office operations and efficient client service. This part-time role, scheduled from 9am to 1pm Monday through Friday, focuses on managing legal documents, coordinating communications, and maintaining organized case files without any travel requirements. The assistant will primarily use Caret, Microsoft Word, Adobe, and Outlook Mail to support daily tasks.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with clients and legal staff
- Prepare and format legal documents
- Manage and organize case files and records
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Support billing and invoicing processes
- Enter data accurately into legal systems
- Handle correspondence via mail and telephone
- Maintain thorough record keeping
- Provide telephone support for client inquiries
Preferred Qualifications
- Three or more years of administrative support experience
