Here, you’ll practice alongside care teams that work seamlessly across Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, and Critical Care—creating smoother transitions, stronger accountability, and better outcomes for the communities we serve.

Local Team Collaboration:

  • Join our collaborative, close-knit team of 6 physicians and 3 APPs at Martintown ER.
  • Work alongside a diverse group of clinicians with a wide range of expertise and experience.
  • Provide care across three sites in the Aiken area, including Aiken Regional Medical Center, Sweetwater ER, and our new Martintown Road ER location opening this fall.
  • Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools. 
  • Stable, well-staffed teams: cohesive teams aligned on our patient-first culture of excellence, which means less reliance on premium temp labor and more predictable shifts. 

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified/eligible in emergency medicine.
  • A collaborative team player with a patient-centered approach.

Scheduling:

  • Flexible scheduling and opportunity to work between all 3 sites.
  • Opportunities for part-time and full-time roles, accommodating your professional and personal needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide coverage for Martintown ER.
  • Manage all aspects of community emergency medicine, collaborating closely with colleagues and consultants.
