Construction Laborer
The Construction Laborer will assist the construction team in all phases of the homebuilding process. This role is responsible for maintaining clean and organized job sites, assisting with the transportation of materials such as tiles, cabinets, and other building selections as directed by the supervisor, and providing hands-on support for various construction tasks. The ideal candidate is comfortable with physical labor, repetitive tasks, and working in a fast-paced environment. This position requires frequent lifting of 50 pounds or more and extended periods of standing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with transporting and organizing construction materials, such as tiles, cabinets, flooring, and other items needed for home builds.
• Keep job sites clean and organized, ensuring debris is removed and pathways are clear for workers and equipment.
• Assist in unloading and delivering construction materials and equipment.
• Support construction teams with hands-on tasks such as framing, drywall installation, painting, and other general labor as needed.
• Operate hand and power tools as directed, maintaining safety standards and care of equipment.
• Assist with set-up and tear-down of temporary structures like scaffolding and tarps.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair of tools and equipment used on the job site.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while on the job site, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Support the supervisor and team with any other construction-related tasks as necessary.
Qualifications:
• Experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required.
