Role Overview

We are seeking to hire multiple candidates for this position. This is an evergreen requisition and will remain posted and open until all positions are filled.

VersAbility Resources is seeking dependable and physically capable Laborers to support Ship Provisioning operations under a government contract.

This is a mission-essential role responsible for handling, moving, and organizing materials to support Navy ship provisioning. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform manual labor tasks including loading and unloading ships and transport equipment
  • Sort, stock, pull, package, and repackage materials
  • Transport goods using carts, hand trucks, or teambased methods
  • Maintain organization and accuracy of inventory
  • Work in various environments, including outdoor weather and freezer conditions
  • Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety programs
  • Adhere to contract requirements and organizational policies
  • Support overall logistics and operational needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to perform physically demanding labor tasks
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 60 lbs. regularly
  • Ability to work in extreme weather and cold storage environments
  • Reliable transportation to assigned work locations
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs
  • Ability to obtain and maintain NACLC background clearance
  • Must be able to gain and maintain access to Naval bases and piers
  • U.S. citizenship required to meet federal contract requirements

    Work Environment & Physical Requirements

    This role involves working in a physically demanding environment, both indoors and outdoors.

    Employees may be exposed to extreme weather conditions, freezer environments, loud noise levels, and operational hazards. The position requires standing, walking, lifting, carrying, and repetitive motion throughout the shift.
