Why This Position? This Shop Helper position is an opportunity to start at the ground level, learn how the basics of working in warehouse/construction environments, develop strong safety habits, and work toward becoming skilled with professional power tools and concrete cutting equipment. If you're dependable, willing to learn, and looking for an opportunity to build a career in the skilled trades, we'll provide the training and experience to help you grow.
Job Responsibilities:

  • As a Shop Helper you will maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop and warehouse environment.
  • Clean and organize tools, equipment, work areas, and company vehicles.
  • Load trucks with the tools, equipment, and materials needed for the following day's work.
  • Unload and properly store tools, equipment, and materials when trucks return.
  • Assist with inventory control by organizing shop supplies and identifying damaged, missing, or low-stock items.
  • Learn proper handling, storage, and care of tools and equipment.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and instructions.
  • Transition into construction work as experience is gained and demonstrate the ability to follow job-site safety requirement.
  • Learn how to safely operate and maintain power tools and concrete-cutting equipment under the guidance of experienced employees.
  • Assist with measuring, marking, and preparing work areas before concrete cutting operations begin.
  • Assist with job-site setup, material handling, equipment preparation, and cleanup.
  • Follow all construction site safety procedures while learning proper work practices and equipment operation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have the Real ID, SS, and Birth Certificate.
  • Must have Clean Background. Or Able to get on base and have active badging.
  • Meet Driving Record Qualifications to get into our Company Auto Insurance.
  • Have reliable transportation and be able to commute to project locations in the 757 cities.
