Pay: $14.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience and position
Schedule: 8-hour or 12-hour shifts | 5- or 6-day workweeks | Some positions require weekend work

Job Description

We are looking for dependable General Laborers for a variety of manufacturing, warehouse, production, construction, and distribution positions throughout Central Virginia. The type of work will vary depending on the assignment, but may include material handling, loading and unloading, production, packaging, assembly, cleaning, sorting, moving materials, and general labor duties.

Some positions are entry-level and provide on-the-job training, while others may require previous warehouse, manufacturing, construction, or production experience. The right candidate should be dependable, willing to work, able to follow directions, and comfortable working in a physical and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Depending on the position, duties may include:

  • Perform general labor and production duties as assigned.
  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, pallets, and materials.
  • Move, carry, stage, and organize materials and finished products.
  • Assist with warehouse and manufacturing operations.
  • Sort, package, label, and prepare products for shipment.
  • Assist with assembly, production, and other hands-on tasks.
  • Use basic hand tools and equipment when required.
  • Help maintain clean and organized work areas.
  • Remove trash, debris, and other materials from work areas.
  • Assist coworkers and supervisors with daily projects and production needs.
  • Follow work instructions and complete tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect materials and products for damage or quality issues.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Schedule

Schedules will depend on the position and may include:

  • 8-hour shifts

  • 5-day workweeks
  • 6-day workweeks
  • Saturday and/or Sunday work for some positions
