Mountains Community Hospital is recruiting for Clinical Laboratory Scientists who is responsible for the overall technical and administrative operation of the respective laboratory section; chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood bank. This person performs a variety of laboratory tests, many of which are complex, involving numerous steps and techniques and require the use of professional judgement. Professional application of the principles, theories and techniques of medical technology are used to produce consistently reliable test results that aid the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with MCH policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning and assigning and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements:

Current license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in the State of California.

5 year's experience preferred.
