Job description

Job Summary
Under minimal supervision, this position manages the most complex office activities to achieve optimum utilization of equipment and employee productivity.
Department Specific Responsibilities
  • Works with IU systems (such as IU's financial, HR, and student platforms) for various administrative tasks. MMS reports, Buy.IU purchases, JobSquad Payroll, Kuali time reviewing
  • Prepares, print and organizes documentation related to meetings, events, or projects at the request of the General Manager..
  • Supports office operations by maintaining files, records, and supplies as needed.
  • Collaborates with other team members to ensure smooth day-to-day administrative functions.
  • Purchases and maintains office supplies and equipment
  • May perform other duties related to maintaining an internal website and/or working with social media.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED)
WORK EXPERIENCE
Preferred
  • 2 years of office or administrative experience

The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without accommodation.
