Job description
Description Salary information: Minimum for Academic Year 2026-2027, $2,053 per credit hour, commensurate with education and experience. Other Conditions: For lecturer applicant pool, part-time, pending availability of funds and actual staffing requirements. Must be available to teach courses online and in person, either during the day, evening, or weekend.
Duties and Responsibilities: Co-teach (with a Korean Language instructor) assigned courses in K-Pop dance in K-Pop dance, in the style of modern K-Pop groups like BTS, BLACKPINK, TWICE or NCT127 Maintain a minimum of one office hour per week for each course taught. Prepare course syllabi and reports related to teaching and student progress. Work under supervision of the division chair in integrating teaching efforts with other instructors in the discipline area.
As needed, work with multimedia presentation, distance education instruction, and teaching at off-campus sites. High proficiency in English Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in relevant discipline or master's degree, or equivalent experience teaching K-Pop dance classes. Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.
Desirable Qualifications: College teaching experience. Knowledge of K-Pop terminology, trends, groups, and conventions.
