We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at a busy and welcoming childcare center. This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment and takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Responsibilities include:
  • Preparing daily snacks that include at least two food groups per serving
  • Washing dishes and maintaining cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces and equipment
  • Organizing and putting away food deliveries and inventory
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards at all times

Qualifications:
  • Current ServSafe Certification (required)
  • Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification (employer will provide training)
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Prior experience in a kitchen or food service setting
