We're seeking a caring, engaging Kindergarten Teacher to join our close-knit team for the upcoming school year. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced educator, retired teacher, or early childhood professional looking for a meaningful part-time role with a predictable schedule.
You'll lead a small kindergarten class where curiosity, creativity, and joyful learning are at the center of every day.
What Success Looks Like
In this role, you will:
  • Create a warm, engaging classroom where children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn.
  • Deliver developmentally appropriate lessons that prepare children academically, socially, and emotionally for elementary school.
  • Foster independence, curiosity, and strong relationships.
  • Integrate Jewish traditions and values naturally into classroom experiences in an inclusive, welcoming way.
  • Partner closely with families and school leadership to support every child's growth.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a kindergarten classroom using developmentally appropriate practices.
  • Plan engaging lessons that support literacy, math, social-emotional learning, and school readiness.
  • Create a positive classroom culture built on kindness, curiosity, and respect.
  • Communicate regularly with families using Brightwheel.
  • Collaborate with school leadership and fellow teachers.
  • Participate in staff meetings and school community events.
  • Use dedicated planning time to prepare thoughtful lessons and classroom activities.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who is:
  • Warm, energetic, and relationship-driven.
  • Experienced working with preschool or kindergarten-aged children.
  • Knowledgeable about child development and classroom management.
  • Comfortable learning about and incorporating Jewish traditions into daily classroom life.
  • Able to meet Georgia licensing requirements.
Preferred
  • CDA or early childhood education credential.
  • Kindergarten or Pre-K teaching experience.
  • Experience in a Jewish preschool or faith-based early childhood program is welcomed but not required.
