What is part time ketamine therapy?

Part time ketamine therapy refers to working in a clinical or therapeutic setting where ketamine is administered to patients on a part-time basis, rather than full-time employment. This role typically involves assisting with patient intake, monitoring during infusions, and collaborating with mental health professionals to provide care for conditions like depression, anxiety, or PTSD. Professionals in this field may include nurses, therapists, or medical assistants who work limited hours each week. The therapy uses ketamine under medical supervision to help manage treatment-resistant mental health conditions.

What does a part time ketamine therapy provider do?

As a part-time ketamine therapy provider, your primary responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, administering ketamine treatments, and monitoring patient responses during and after sessions. You will often collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, such as psychiatrists, psychotherapists, and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care and coordinate treatment plans. Flexibility is key, as schedules may vary to accommodate patient needs, and maintaining accurate documentation is essential for compliance and continuity of care. This role offers meaningful patient interaction and the chance to contribute to innovative mental health treatments.
