Job description

We are hiring a detailoriented part-time 10-key Data Entry Clerk to support our highvolume medical claims processing team. This role is accuracydriven data entry work performed individually at a computer. Paper medical claims are received, scanned, and processed digitally by a team of keyers with support from supervisors and leads. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys structured, headsdown work, thrives in a routine environment, and takes pride in producing accurate, consistent results.

WORKSITE: 820 Stillwater Road, West Sacramento, CA

WORK SCHEDULE: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. ( No Exceptions)

COMPENSATION: $18.00 per hour

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Review scanned medical claim images and enter or correct data

  • Validate OCRcaptured fields against the original claim

  • Maintain high accuracy and consistency in a productionbased environment

  • Meet daily and weekly performance goals

  • Work independently at a computer for the majority of the shift

  • Protect confidentiality of sensitive medical information

  • Meeting individual KPIs for data entered. Completing tasks within deadlines and managing time effectively.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in 10- key data entry or a related field is preferred
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet)
  • This position requires the ability to key a minimum of 9,000 keystrokes per hour while maintaining a 99% accuracy rate.
