As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to support the design and implementation of user-based systems to deliver resilient, affordable, and sustainable Global Positioning Systems (GPS) capabilities. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize GPS. You'll develop your skills in developing and acquiring GPS user systems while gaining experience with delivering sustained, reliable capabilities to America's warfighters, our allies, and civil users. You Have:
  • 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, including development and verification of system functional and performance requirements
  • 8+ years of experience with systems product acceptance process and reviews milestones, including SRR, SFR, PDR, or CDR events
  • Experience with managing specifications and performing requirements analysis
  • Ability to collaborate in cross-functional team meetings and task execution across systems engineering activities
  • Ability to be highly motivated, display a dynamic work ethic, and contribute to the DoD mission
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships with government clients, stakeholders, and vendor teammates
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science

Nice If You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, including development and verification of system functional and performance requirements, with GPS receiver systems
  • Experience with HW or SW systems engineering
  • Experience with collaboration tools, including MS Teams including KanBan
  • Experience performing multiple systems engineering and program management functions
  • Knowledge of GPS space, ground, or user equipment segment
  • Knowledge of the DoD or Other Transactional Authority (OTA) acquisition lifecycle and milestones, and DoD systems engineering, test, and production policies, standards, and practices
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, ESEP, CSEP, or OCSMP

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
