The Ohio State University College of Dentistry seeks a Patient Revenue Cycle Coordinator to join the Patient Revenue Cycle Services team. This position is temporary and part-time.

ThePatientRevenue CycleCoordinatorfunctions as a key member of theCollege of Dentistry (CoD)Revenue CycleServicesTeam. This position isprimarilyresponsible forback-endRevenue Cycle activities(Ex.:charge review,billing, follow-up,denial management,claims,claim vendor,cash reconciliation, banking interactions, 835 processing,bad debt,payer interactions,grievancemanagement, and customer service.This position may back upstaff responsible for front-end Revenue Cycle activities.

Work Schedule:

20 hours per week; hybrid

Physical Requirements:

Candidate must be able to push / pull cartscontainingoffice supplies, bend / stretch / twist to pick up supplies,maintainoffice appearance, stand and walk for periods of time serving andassistingcustomers.

Experience and Education:

Required:

High School diploma or GED.2years of relevant experiencerequiredsuch as Dental/Medical Office front desk, operations, scheduling,and orbilling experience.

Desired:

4-6 yearsof relevant experienceplusknowledgeof electronichealth record (EHR) software; detailed orientedwithdeveloped organizational skills;high levelverbal and written communication skills;proficiencyusing Microsoft Office in a business environment; ability to completeappropriate correspondencetomaintainpatient communication; self-motivated individual.

The Ohio State University College of Dentistry is the fourth largest public dental school in the United States, and it is the only public dental school in Ohio. The college is divided into eleven divisions with all major ADA-recognized dental specialties represented. The College has approximately 600 students in its undergraduate and graduate programs.
