Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented part-time Payroll Shipping Clerk. This position will support our payroll department in processing payroll for clients. You will be responsible for payroll data entry and record maintenance. This position will work directly with our Payroll Account Managers and Payroll Department Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Ship and track all payroll data to client companies utilizing commercial overnight shipping and couriers
  • Prepare shipping documents and labels
  • Maintain shipping records
  • Coordinate outbound shipments with carriers
  • Track shipments and resolve delivery issues as needed
  • Participate in Payroll projects and programs, whether new or modified
  • Perform data entry and other administrative tasks

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 1-3 years of office administration experience
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including building spreadsheets and creating formulas preferred
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change
  • Must be highly organized, self-driven and detail oriented
  • Able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of accuracy
