We manufacture a complete line of overhead door and closure products, designed for commercial, industrial, institutional and retail use. We have an excellent opportunity for a Part-Time  Accounting Associate (15 hours per week) in our Wilkes-Barre, PA  location.
Summary:
Responsibilities/Principal Duties:

  • Logging invoices to their designated po's in specific wo's
  • Compile components of service calls to generate and forward customer invoices in a timely manner
  • Contacting vendors for required data
  • Saving documents in correct places
  • Document completeness verification
  • Sorting and distributing incoming mail
  • Vendor relation functions
  • Special accounting project as needed
  • Working on the UST report, contacting for needed documents, monitor WO aging
  • Answering the phone
  • Contacting customers when needed for specific documents


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualified candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications:

  • High School degree or equivalency required
  • General Ledger/Bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Comfortable using Word, Excel, Email and the Internet
  • Good interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Plan and organize work effectively in a fast paces environment
  • Ability to make mathematical calculations quickly and accurately
  • Ability to exercise independent judgement, use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
