Ortonville Area Health Services is seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Human Resources Generalist to support and enhance our employee experience. This role is a key partner to leaders and staff across the organization, ensuring effective HR operations while fostering a supportive, compliant, and high-performing workplace.


Key Responsibilities:

Supports employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and questions

Administers leave of absence programs, including FMLA, personal leave, and other applicable programs

Coordinates the hiring and onboarding process for new employees

Assists the Finance/HR Assistant with payroll processes, including data entry, audits, and resolving payroll-related inquiries

Maintains enrollments and assignments for online and classroom training

Provides general support for various HR functions and provides basic HR support to staff and other related duties as required and assigned

Maintains confidentiality of employee and organizational information

Education/Experience:ย 

Minimum of two years' experience in a Human Resources role preferred

Associate or bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
