What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical emergencies, and facility-related concerns.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the healthcare location, including entrances, parking areas, public spaces, and perimeter areas, as assigned.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, and report unusual activity or conditions to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in alignment with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be willing to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
  • Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
  • Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
