As a Security Officer Part Time Hospital Intervention in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established healthcare facility protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, directions, and access control procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately; communicate relevant information to site leadership, emergency responders, and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
