Position Type: Locum | Physician - Vascular Surgery
Overview
Seeking a Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon to provide weekend hospital-based call coverage at a high-acuity facility. This opportunity supports a Level I trauma center with a strong surgical volume and full ancillary support.
Practice Highlights
  • Hospital-based vascular surgery coverage

  • Average 10 cases per day
  • Adult and geriatric patient population
  • Full ancillary staff support
  • Hemodialysis access services available
  • EMR: Epic
  • High-volume emergency department
Procedures & Clinical Scope
Vascular Surgery Procedures:
  • Aneurysm repairs (thoracic, abdominal, peripheral)
  • Vascular access devices
  • AV shunts
Endovascular & Open Procedures:
  • Carotid artery stenting
  • Bypass surgery (including aortofemoral bypass)
  • Peripheral stenting
  • Endovascular and open reconstruction for DVT
  • Treatment of peripheral artery disease and gangrene
  • Lymphedema management
Schedule & Coverage
  • Weekend coverage - ASAP (specific dates TBD)
  • Night call coverage
  • Call ratio: 50%

Candidate Requirements
  • Board Certified / FACS - REQUIRED
