Caregiver - Personal Care Aide
Job Summary:
Interim Healthcare is searching for a Part-Time Caregiver to help our clients and perform basic tasks related to their care. We are looking for reliable and compassionate individuals who are passionate about helping others. The successful candidate should be committed to providing an excellent quality of care and be willing to collaborate with their teammates to reach our clients' goal of health.
Compensation & Benefits:
The Caregiver position is compensated hourly at a rate of $16.50 to $17.50 per hour. This is a part-time healthcare / medical role and benefits include: a full range of medical benefits including, Vision/Dental, Sick Time, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), 401K, tuition discounts, and online training.
Responsibilities:
-Provide day-to-day personal eating, bathing, dressing, and other personal care responsibilities
-Provide emotional support and companionship
-Maintain up-to-date medical records
-Help individuals monitor and manage the use of medications
-Perform light housekeeping including laundry, mopping, sweeping, and dusting
-Monitor and observe changes in the client's personal care needs
-Assist with activities of daily living, assist in positioning and transferring
-Assist with meals and feeding
-Help promote client's mental alertness via the use of activities of daily living
Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-6 months caregiver experience, preferred
-CPR/First Aid Certified
-Valid driver's license / auto insurance
-Fingerprint card, preferred
