The Golf Club at Lansdowne, located in Lansdowne, VA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Golf Shop Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Pay Range: $12.77- $15.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assists the Head Golf Professional and Assistant Golf Professionals with the daily management of golf operations
  • Assists with golfer check-in and fee collection; controls and manages play; reconciles daily tee sheets
  • Assists in administering all point-of-sale (POS) application revisions and needs as they apply to green fee sales, merchandise sales, and member/guest billing
  • Promotes all club golf activities
  • Assists with maintaining a clean, orderly, and well-stocked golf shop
  • Assists with maintaining proper records and billing for storage and lockers for members
  • Assists golf professionals during tournaments and weekly games
  • Monitors all members' scores, reports handicaps to the USGA, and bills members accordingly
  • Follows established opening and closing procedures
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
  • Performs other duties as required

Experience and Education Requirements:
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Previous golf course and/or retail experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some college or a college degree preferred; or equivalent experience

Additional Requirements:
  • Availability on weekdays, weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late evenings
  • Reliable attendance with strong customer service skills and a positive personality
