This part-time, year-round position offers flexibility during the academic year (20-32 hours per week) with potential for full-time work during summer and breaks.

Key Responsibilities

As a Communications Co-op, you’re also:

  • A Brand Storyteller – Develop engaging content for emails, digital communications, and print materials to promote Nexteer’s brand and culture.
  • An Event Coordinator – Assist in planning and executing site and functional events, including various employee events and the annual offsite leadership conference, ensuring seamless logistics and an engaging experience.
  • A Multimedia Creator – Design, edit, and publish visually compelling materials across print, digital, and motion platforms, bringing creative ideas to life.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Highly professional demeanor with ability and confidence to interface with all levels of the company - including senior leadership.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365.
  • Preferred experience with multimedia design tools, such as Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
  • Bonus skills (not required but a plus): Graphic design, web design, photography, basic HTML, and/or video production/editing.

Job Requirements

  • Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
  • Available to work 20-32 hours per week during the academic year, with potential for full-time hours in summer and breaks.
  • Candidates must have the right to work in the U.S. without requiring current or future sponsorship.
  • Optional: Students are encouraged to submit a portfolio for review.

This position offers the potential opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement.

Join us and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, creative environment where your ideas make an impact!
