Marketing & Social Media Coordinator

Part-Time Position: 15-20 Hours/Week

About the Role

Ensemble Performing Arts is seeking a part-time Marketing and Social Media Coordinator for Hawkins School of Performing Arts located in Folsom, CA. The Marketing & Social Media Coordinator is responsible for leading the studio's day-to-day marketing presence, digital storytelling, and campaign execution. This role combines creative content creation with strategic marketing initiatives to increase enrollment, strengthen community visibility, and ensure brand consistency across all channels.

This position manages social media, campaigns, email marketing, community outreach, creative assets, and performance reporting. The ideal candidate is both creative and organized-someone who can capture the heart of Hawkins while also driving measurable results.

What You'll Focus OnSocial Media & Content Creation
  • Manage the studio's social media presence across platforms
  • Publish engaging posts, stories, reels, and promotional content weekly
  • Capture photo/video content during classes, rehearsals, performances, and events
  • Write captions, hashtags, tags, and calls-to-action
  • Monitor comments, messages, tags, and audience engagement
  • Maintain organized media libraries in shared drives and Canva
Marketing Campaigns & Enrollment Growth
  • Plan and execute campaigns for:
    • Enrollment periods
    • Summer camps & intensives
    • Performances & productions
    • Auditions & master classes
  • Maintain a rolling 90-day marketing calendar
  • Coordinate messaging across social media, email, website, and print channels
  • Support lead generation and student enrollment goals
Email Marketing & Communications
  • Create and send monthly newsletters
  • Develop targeted e-blasts for promotions, events, reminders, and announcements
  • Maintain email/contact databases through Constant Contact or similar platforms
Community Outreach & Brand Visibility
  • Identify local partnerships, events, schools, festivals, and outreach opportunities
  • Coordinate participation logistics and promotional materials
  • Increase studio awareness within the community
  • Help generate reviews, testimonials, and referral opportunities
Analytics & Reporting
  • Track performance metrics including reach, engagement, leads, conversions, and campaign ROI
  • Prepare monthly reports with insights and recommendations
  • Help leadership understand what is working and where to improve
Weekly Expectations
  • 4+ social media posts per week
  • 5+ story posts per week
  • Ongoing engagement and inbox monitoring
  • Content capture as needed
