In addition, part-time teachers can expect to provide about 2 hours of extra help in total to students each week, on average. Preparation for classes and grading student work may all be completed at home; part-time employees only have to be on campus to teach their classes and occasionally attend faculty meetings. New employees attend a week-long orientation in August, prior to the start of school.ย

Key Skills and Qualities:

  • Fluency in French
  • Desire and ability to build authentic relationships with students
  • Ability to teach rich content with creative pedagogy
  • Superb oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and strong organizational skillsย ย
  • Confidence using educational technology
