Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview Shift: Rotating, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Sep 27, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week rotating day/night contract requiring an active MA RN license and at least one year of travel nursing experience. Details Work on a Medical Unit within a hospital setting May float between Phillips 20 and Phillips 21 units 36 hours per week on a rotating day/night shift schedule Every other weekend and every other holiday required 13-week contract assignment Uses Epic for EMR charting Requirements Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses not accepted BLS certification required (AHA preferred; some facilities accept Red Cross) Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required Primary source license verification required through both NURSYS and BON within 30 days of start Flu vaccine required with no medical or religious exemptions accepted Additional Information Provide direct medical-surgical nursing care and float between assigned units as needed Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility may be considered at a reduced rate Holiday coverage required on a rotating basis RTO must be disclosed prior to consideration Two professional references required for consideration American Traveler Job ID P-748600.
