Position: Adjunct Faculty - Clinical Skills Lab Instructor (CUSOM)
Department: Jerry M. Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine
Status: Part Time
Summary/ Essential Duties:
The Clinical Skills Lab instructor is responsible for facilitating discussions with a group of 8-9 medical students during the Clinical Skills Lab. The instructor is also responsible for supervising students practicing history and physical skills, providing feedback and assistance in improving students' skills, overseeing activities according to the lesson plans, and completing student evaluations on assigned forms and timelines. This also includes teaching in the Simulation Lab, and Friday Morning Clinical Cases.
This position is part-time, teaching in the Clinical Skills Lab and/or Simulation Lab one or two afternoons per week.
Minimum Qualifications:
The Clinical Skills Lab instructors must hold a DO or MD degree, and a valid North Carolina medical license.
