Job description

The museum’s Protection Services department seeks candidates for a part-time customer service oriented Night Watch Person. The Night Watch Person’s position patrols the museum premises during non-business hours to protect against fire, theft, vandalism, and other dangers that might result in damage and loss. Monitors visitors, staff, vendors, volunteers, and contractors flow through metal detectors at points of entry for potential weapons.

A high school diploma and a strong security background are required. In this role, the Night Watch Person will occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

The shift for this position is 5:30 p.m.–1:30 a.m.

Hourly wage: $18.50
