Senior Accountant
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting functions of a multi-entity organization. This role blends strong accounting knowledge with hands-on execution, working closely with teams across the organization to ensure accurate financial reporting and efficient operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, collaborative, and solutions-focused, with the ability to manage regular accounting responsibilities while also helping identify ways to improve processes and workflows.

This role is onsite in Albany, Oregon.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities

  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities including journal entries, general ledger oversight, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and supporting documentation to ensure accurate reporting in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by organizing documentation, responding to inquiries, and assisting with compliance reviews.
  • Partner with operational, supply chain, and finance teams to address accounting questions, support business initiatives, and ensure proper financial treatment of transactions.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and contribute to process improvements that enhance reporting accuracy, internal controls, and operational efficiency.

Senior Accountant Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, or other complex multi-entity organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with full-cycle accounting processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Experience working with large ERP systems such as Oracle and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel; exposure to BI tools such as Power BI is a plus.
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred, along with strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Salary: $90K-$110K/year. (DOE)
