Job description

The Adams County District Attorney’s Office is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive File Clerk for a part-time, regular position with up to 29 hours per week. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the office’s legal team by expertly managing and organizing both physical and electronic case files.

Key Duties:

  • Manage, organize, and retrieve both physical and electronic documents according to office procedures.
  • Oversee the PACFiling system: upload, track, and maintain digital case files for easy access and accountability.
  • Prepare files for court proceedings, meetings, and internal use to ensure staff are always equipped with critical information.
  • Conduct regular audits to maintain the integrity and accuracy of filing systems.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff to swiftly provide necessary documentation and support.
  • Assist with digitizing paper records to promote efficiency and modernize document storage.
  • Handle all records with a high degree of confidentiality and discretion.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; extra training in office administration a plus.
  • Previous experience in file management or a legal/administrative environment preferred.
  • Hands-on familiarity with electronic and PACFiling systems strongly desired.
