Job description

Menards is seeking customer-focused individuals to join our Call Center Team! As a Call Center Team Member, you will be responsible for assisting customers who call in with questions about our stores and products. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will provide excellent customer service and ensure that all inquiries are resolved in a timely and efficient manner!
CALL CENTER PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Each Call Center Team Member provides direct customer service through oral and written communication via phone call and email using Menards-provided programs. Each Team Member will receive on the job training to contribute to store sales by selling products directly and fielding customer phone inquiries regarding product questions, pricing, and availability.
  • Process sales and special orders based on Customer requests and need
  • Provide clarification on Menards return policies and process returns accurately
  • Ability to work both independently and on a team in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to solve customer concerns and provide effective solutions in timely manner

Call Center hours of Operations are Sunday - Saturday 7:00am - 7:00pm.
Part Time: starting at $16.35/hour
  • Flexible scheduling during Call Center hours of operation
  • PM availability preferred,
  • weekend availability is required

Additional Requirements:
  • Must be able to work ONSITE at the General Office in Eau Claire, WI
  • Must be proficient with keyboarding, Microsoft Word, Outlook, basic phone system hardware.
  • Opportunities to work occasional overtime including weekends and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries in a professional manner
