Job description

Description: Historic New England seeks a seasonal, part-time Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Workshares to work at Casey Farm for the 2026 season. CSA Workshare work alongside farm hands in the field performing tasks such as planting, weeding, harvesting, and preparing produce for CSA pickup and weekly farmer's market. No experience necessary - training is provided. Available Shifts: Tuesday or Friday mornings (7:00 AM - 11:00 AM) to help with harvest, as well as Saturday field crew (8:00 AM - 12:00 PM). Working the same day each week of the 20-week season is required (with exceptions for time off planned in advance).

Qualifications: CSA Workshares must be punctual and reliable, be able to take direction and work independently as well as in team setting, be able and willing to work full days of physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions, have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and be able to work efficiently and quickly.

Benefits: Work shares receive a CSA share of vegetables every week ($860 value) in exchange for committing to work one 4 hour weekly shift throughout the 20 week season (June-Oct).
