We are participating in the Alberta Youth Incentive Program which supports hiring youth from the ages 15 - 24.
Join our Team at Eckville Farm Centre
Are you dedicated to providing exceptional customer service? Are you detail-oriented with a hands-on approach? If so, Eckville Farm Centre presents the perfect opportunity for you! Join our team at the Eckville Farm Centre as a temporary part-time Yard Attendant.
Position: Yard Attendant
Term: Temporary contract until approximately September 30, 2026
Part-time: 24 - 36 hours per week.
Availability: Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service
Perform shipping and receiving duties as required
Operate hand and/or controlled forklifts
Prepare orders to ensure prompt delivery
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications:
Exceptional attention to detail and quality
Highly self-motivated
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Team player with the ability to work independently
Valid Class 3 Licence with Air brake endorsement is an asset
Must provide an acceptable driver's abstract upon hire
Experience running a forklift is preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
Applicants must be over 14 years old. (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required)
