Job description

Internships
The Westchester County District Attorney's Office offers full- and part-time internships for undergraduate college students and law students. Full-time internships are offered during the summer and part-time internships (10-15 hours per week) are offered during the fall and spring semesters. These programs offer students an opportunity to gain public service experience, working closely with ADAs on various aspects of prosecutorial work. Students will observe and assist with preparation for hearings and trials, review and transcribe recordings, review police reports, and observe court proceedings. Law students will also conduct legal research and assist in drafting written motions and may have the opportunity to appear on the record in court proceedings through our student practice order.
The fall semester internship starts the Tuesday after Labor Day and runs through early December.
