Job description

Responsible for setting up systems, maintaining fab test wafer management systems, and troubleshooting the fab. Manage test wafer inventories and allocate necessary inventories to process areas. Maintain test wafer management projects and automation setup. Maintain automation projects and utilize Micron software to manage processes. Collaborate with other areas to maintain bare wafer stocker inventories and configurations. Validate and approve test wafer flow changes using change management protocols. Utilize data management software to support automation, including but not limited to, crafting templates, settings, values, and standards in the Test Wafer management system. Maintain weekly cost budgets for various test wafer grades. May telecommute part-time.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
Position requires:
1. Creating and implementing standard operating procedures.
2. Creating and analyzing reports using tools, including Excel.
3. Defect analysis, interpreting Statistical Process Control (SPC) data, and recommending process changes to improve stability. Statistical analysis and design of experiment (DOE).
4. Operating and optimizing unit operations and maintaining consistent product quality via testing and control methods.
5. Root cause analysis and troubleshooting, utilizing data-driven problem-solving and statistical tools to identify process deviations.
6. Process safety and continuous improvement methodologies.
7. Evaluate and qualify new equipment, materials, and process technologies to support ongoing process development and yield enhancement.
8. Execution of cost-saving initiatives within manufacturing or process environments.
