Job Description

NBCUniversal has an opening for a Coordinator, Audience Operations & Events as part of Rockefeller Center Guest Experience team within the Operations and Technology division of NBCU. This is an opportunity to join a small and dynamic team that delivers one-of-a-kind product and experiences to guests at NBC's home in 30 Rockefeller Plaza. The position reports to the Manager, Audience Operations & Events and requires a full-time on-site schedule with some overtime hours as needed.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Coordinator, Audience Operations & Events will support optimal experiences for our general public and clients, coming to 30 Rock.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Work closely with all audience operations for 30 Rockefeller Plaza
  • Support Saturday Night Live ticketing for lottery winners, VIPs, NBC clients and standby guests
  • Help with the standby process for all audiences including Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and Saturday Night Live
  • Strategically support tracking processes for all audience/general public data reporting
  • Work closely with East Coast Pages for onboarding, training and mentorship
  • Assist with audiences for special tapings/events in studios and the Peacock Lounge
  • Collaborate with all Guest Experience functions as needed including The Shop and Retail Operations
  • Act as Leader on Duty/administrative support for NBC Studio Tour when required
  • Help liaise with clients for private film screenings for talent and executives
  • Ideate on operational enhancements as they pertain to the Guest Experience team
  • Work with Guest Experience Merchandising team to properly execute and advertise upcoming Shop activations and events
  • On site and operational lead for all Shop events
Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 1 year working experience in a similar capacity
  • Proven ability to be flexible and consistent in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work independently and manage when necessary
  • Ability to actively problem-solve and critically think
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and able to perform tasks with minimal supervision and direction

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Must be proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Must be extremely organized and driven by efficiency
  • Must have exceptional time management skills
  • Must be willing to work varying hours as needed including nights, weekends, overnights, and holidays
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be 18 years or older

DESIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with corporate events, live production, and customer service

Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
