Position Summary:

Guest Services Attendant is responsible for providing friendly and outstanding customer service so that our guests have an engaging and immersive visitor experience. The Box Office & Guest Services Attendant will interact with guests daily and answer questions, assist with Museum directions, process payments for admissions and memberships, and provide general support to the guests and Guest Services team.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to Museum visitors
  • Orient guests to the Museum, answer questions, process payments for admissions, memberships and Museum Store
  • Actively promote Museum memberships and provide membership information
  • Provide up-to-date information on Museum programs, events, activities
  • Interact and engage visitors
  • Prepare exhibits for opening and closing
  • Maintain clean and safe exhibits and visitor areas
  • Participate in special events and required staff meetings
  • Be available for evening and weekend work
  • Maintain neat and professional appearance in accordance with Employee Handbook
  • Assist with after-hour events as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Occasionally exposed to outdoor elements including high and low temperatures, precipitation, and wind.

  • Occasionally exposed to small and/or enclosed spaces.

This is a part-time position, 15-20 hours per week, onsite in Everett. The pay is $20 an hour. Candidates must be available to work weekends and evenings.
