We are looking for an Entry Level Accounts Payable Clerk to join a manufacturing organization in Everett, Washington on an assignment. This opportunity is well suited for a recent accounting graduate or someone early in their accounting career who is eager to build hands-on experience in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. The person in this role will support day-to-day accounting operations while working closely with a collaborative team.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and organize recurring financial reports by extracting data from multiple systems and consolidating it into usable spreadsheets.
• Assist with routine transactional accounting tasks, including basic accounts payable data entry and related record maintenance.
• Use Excel tools such as pivot tables, lookup functions, and existing formulas to analyze information and support daily reporting needs.
• Research order, merchant, and e-commerce transaction details across various platforms to resolve discrepancies and support accurate accounting records.
• Maintain high accuracy while handling repetitive daily processes that require strong attention to detail and consistency.
• Support coverage for team workload by assisting with accounting activities typically handled by other members during leave periods.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Little to no accounting experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Foundational understanding of journal entries, including debits and credits.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and formula interpretation.
• Exposure to account reconciliation, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or accounting entries.
• Ability to compare large sets of data, identify mismatches, and resolve issues with accuracy.
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of precision and organization.
• Adaptable communication style and willingness to learn in a team-oriented hybrid work environment.
