Position Summary
Nye Health Services is seeking a compassionate and dependable Medication Aide to join our evening team. In this role, you will support residents by safely administering medications, assisting with daily care needs, and helping create a positive, resident-centered environment. This position plays an important role in ensuring our residents receive exceptional service and personalized care each day.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies
  • Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns to the nurse promptly
  • Accurately document medication administration and resident care tasks
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors
  • Communicate effectively with nurses, caregivers, residents, and family members
  • Support resident dignity, independence, and quality of life through compassionate care
  • Follow all state regulations, infection control procedures, and company policies

Qualifications
  • Current 40-hour Medication Aide certification in the state of Nebraska required
  • Previous long-term care or assisted living experience preferred
